Office Manager & Bookkeeper

The Role

We’re looking for a sharp, dependable Office Manager & Bookkeeper to run the financial and administrative backbone of two owner-led businesses: a high-end custom home builder and a boutique agritourism ranch.

This is not a “starter” role. You’ll be trusted with real responsibility, real numbers, and real autonomy.

If you love order, clean systems, and knowing exactly where the money is going—this will feel satisfying.
If you need hand-holding or constant direction—this won’t be a fit.

What You’ll Own

Bookkeeping & Financials

  • QuickBooks (or similar): daily transactions, reconciliations, clean books

  • Accounts payable & receivable

  • Job cost tracking (construction experience is a big plus)

  • Monthly financial reports + cash flow visibility

  • Invoicing, deposits, and payment tracking

  • Support for CPA at tax time

Office & Operations

  • Vendor setup, insurance docs, W-9s

  • Contract + document organization

  • Light HR admin (payroll coordination, onboarding paperwork)

  • Calendar coordination and admin support for the owner

  • Systems improvement (we want things tighter, not messier)

Across Two Businesses

  • Neira Custom Homes: construction bookkeeping, draws, vendor payments

  • Casacampo Alpaca Ranch: retail, tours, lodging, events, POS reconciliation

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven bookkeeping experience (construction or hospitality = gold)

  • Detail-oriented to the point of obsession

  • Calm, discreet, and trustworthy

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Strong written communication

  • Tech-competent (QuickBooks, Google Drive, basic spreadsheets)

Schedule & Structure

  • Monday - Friday

  • Part-time to start, with room to grow

  • Flexible hours, results matter more than clock-punching
